<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;margin: 0in 0in 0pt"><span style="font-size: 12pt"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman">Dr. Scheuer went on to the University of Oklahoma where he received his M.D. degree.<span>&nbsp; </span>His training includes two years in a general surgery residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.<span>&nbsp; </span>His residency was spent at New York University where he held the position of chief resident.<span>&nbsp; </span>During that time, he worked six months at Sloan Kettering Memorial Cancer Institute and 18 months at Bellevue Hospital.<span>&nbsp; </span>In addition, Dr. Scheuer had six months of pediatric urology training under the guidance of a world-renowned specialist.<span>&nbsp; </span>Another six months included training with Drs. Duben and Amelar, working intricately with male infertility and corresponding laboratory testing.<span>&nbsp; </span>Dr. Scheuer at this point received his board certification from the American Board of Urology.</span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;margin: 0in 0in 0pt"><span style="font-size: 12pt"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman">Dr. Scheuer has been in private practice in the Long Beach&nbsp;area&nbsp;since 1986.<span>&nbsp; </span>He has taken a practical interest in both infertility and pediatric urology.<span>&nbsp; </span>He has been active in the national prostate cancer screening program.<span>&nbsp; </span>He was a pioneer in the development of the no-scalpel vasectomy technique in the United States and is one of the most experienced urologists in this procedure in the country.</span></span></p>
